Noe Pamarot Bio
Send To Friend
Noe Pamarot joined Portsmouth from Tottenham in January 2006 as part of a reported £7million triple transfer also involving Pedro Mendes and Sean Davis.
The right-sided defender initially had a loan spell with Portsmouth during the 1999/2000 campaign but his time on the south coast proved unsuccessful.
His second debut for the Fratton Park club came in a 1-0 home defeat to Everton and he was an important player and the club came back from the dead to stay in the Premier League for 2006/07.
Pamarot was a regular feature in 2006/07 as Pompey finished in the top half but found himself on the fringes of Harry Redknapp's squad during the 2007/08 season behind Lauren and Glen Johnson in the pecking order for right-back.
Pamarot established his credentials with French Ligue 1 club Nice after joining the club in 2000 from lower league outfit FC Martigues and helped Nice win promotion two seasons later.
Tottenham signed the quick, powerful defender who is also comfortable on the ball, for a fee of £1.7million in August 2004.
He made his debut in a 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion but failed to establish himself, barely playing for Spurs in 2005/06.
Pamarot played 30 games for Tottenham, scoring twice, before heading to Pompey.
At the end of the 2008/09 term Paramot was strongly linked with a move to newly-promoted club Hull City.
