Rodgers has played at Reserve and Academy levels for Arsenal and is a strong, athletic defender.
The Londoner caught the eye with a series of assured performances at centre-half for the reserves and was drafted into the Carling Cup side against Burnley.
He was handed his first professional contract at the start of the 2007/08 season and went on to appear 15 times for Neil Banfield's second-string.
Boasting pace and power, Rodgers' versatility is also a key component of his game.
In January 2009 Rodgers joined League One side Northampton Town on loan for one month, he was due to return to Arsenal after February 21st.
