Matt Duke Bio
Send To Friend
Matt Duke is one of Hull City's reserve goalkeepers, having joined the club from Burton Albion in the summer of 2004 for £20,000.
He actually came through the youth ranks of hometown club Sheffield United without making an appearance, and also has a loan spell with Bury as back-up.
The goalkeeper dropped out of League football in September 2000 when joining Burton, where he spent four years.
Duke finally made his debut in the pro ranks in August 2004, aged 27, in Hull's 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic in League One.
With Boaz Myhill firmly the Tigers numbers one he spent time out on loan in 2005/06 with Stockport County and Wycombe Wanderers.
With just a handful of appearances for Hull since joining in 2004 there is little chance of seeing this stopper in action in the Premier League.
