Loukas Vyntra Profile
An aggressive right-back also who qualifies to play for the Czech Republic, the country where he was born to a Czech father and Greek mother. Vyntra has considerable experience in central defence too and Otto Rehhagel thinks he can fill in at left-back.
He began his career with southern Greek club Paniliakos and on loan to Pontil Verias before moving to Panathinaikos in 2004 to replace the recently-departed Giourkas Seitaridis.
What the papers say: Vyntra has been linked with a transfer to Hertha Berlin and Hannover in the German Bundesliga.
