A Barcelona youth product, Bojan is a favourite of the fans at the Nou Camp and has been breaking records at the club since the age of eight. He bagged over 900 goals in various levels of the club's youth system and broke into the senior squad under Frank Rijkaard in the 2007-08 season.

He became the third youngest player in the club's history to play for the first-team when he made his debut against Osasuna in September 2007 and, when scoring against Villarreal a month later, he became the club's youngest scorer, aged 17 years and 53 days.

Under Pep Guardiola, he was used mainly off the bench but scored important goals in helping the side to the Spanish Cup (and then six-trophy haul) in 2008-09.

With a Serbian father he has duel nationality, but chose to play for Spain and became the second youngest player to represent his country when he made his full national debut in September 2008.
