Fulham hoping to tie up new Zamora contract
Fulham assistant manager Mark Bowen has confirmed that the Cottagers are in advanced talks with striker Bobby Zamora over a contract extension.

It is believed Zamora has been offered the biggest deal in the club's history, as Fulham boss Mark Hughes looks to convince him to stay at Craven Cottage amid reported interest from a number of Premier League rivals.
Liverpool and Birmingham were linked with deadline day moves for Zamora, but the forward remains at the club where he has excelled since moving from West Ham two years ago.
And Bowen says the Cottagers are hopeful of tying down one of their prized assets to a new long-term deal, though he admitted that talks first started a few months ago.
"What I know is that he is currently in discussions with the club over a possible new deal," Bowen said. "It has been ongoing for a few months and obviously way before Mark (Hughes) and I came in.
"But my understanding is that we are hopeful Bobby will agree a long-term contract with the club."
