Santa Fe clinched their place in the second round of the Copa Sudamericana after a 4-0 win over Venezuela's Lara.

In Colombia, Sergio Otalvaro, Alejandro Bernal, Felix Noguera and Yullian Anchico got the goals as Santa Fe overturned a 2-0 deficit from the first leg. Santa Fe will now play Caracas in the next round.
Meanwhile, Independiente defeated Argentinos 1-0 in the first leg of their all-Argentinian duel in the second round.
The hosts, without a win from their first three games in the Argentinian league, took an early lead thanks to Leonel Galeano's ninth-minute goal, and they went on to dominate the rest of the opening half as they controlled the ball in midfield.
After the break Argentinos looked to hit back and created several good chances, but keeper Adrian Gabbarini prevented them from equalising. The second leg will take place on September 9.
