N'Zogbia, 24, joined Wigan from Newcastle in January 2009 and managed to successfully revive his career, and rumours now suggest he could move on this summer.

"When I came here, I was in a period where I wanted to relaunch myself," N'Zogbia told L'Equipe. "Today I'm at Wigan but if tomorrow a good club with great aims contacts me, I am open. I have talked about it with my bosses. They won't put a spoke in the wheel."

N'Zogbia, who could play for France in the upcoming friendly against Norway, has also dismissed talk he could have represented England.

N'Zogbia moved to England in 2004 when he left Le Havre for Newcastle, and there were reports he was ready to play for England after receiving a British passport earlier this year.

"They talked about me (playing for England) but for me it's just something in the press," he said. "Until the moment someone at the Federation comes and talks to me about it face to face, I haven't even asked myself the question.

"In my head, I'm French. There's no reflection to make."
