Former Scotland boss George Burley is the new manager of Crystal Palace.

Burley, 54, returns to club football with the Championship side after being sacked as national head coach last November. Former Palace striker Dougie Freedman stays on as assistant manager.
Burley succeeds Paul Hart, whose short-term contract expired after he memorably saved the Eagles from relegation on the final day of last season.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Crystal Palace Football Club are delighted to announce that George Burley has been named as the new manager of the club."
