The agent of Palermo striker Abel Hernandez has played down speculation that his client will leave the Italian club this summer and move to Premier League side Arsenal.

Hernandez, 19, has been linked with a move to England after his imposing style caught the eye in Italy. However, Vincenzo D'Ippolito insists the Uruguay Under-20 international, who has scored four goals in Serie A this season, is happy with life in Italy.

"There is no chance that the boy will leave Sicily," he told Calciomercato. "The association with Arsenal is pleasing [for Hernandez], Wenger has always focused on young players.

"Many clubs like Abel, but his will and the club's is to remain in Rosanero. He's going well and is very happy".
