Marouane Chamakh "prepared" for Premier League move
An expected move to Arsenal may not have been officially confirmed, but Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh says he is already preparing for life in the Premier League.

Chamakh is a long-term target for Arsene Wenger and it is reported that he has already agreed a Bosman transfer worth £50,000 per week that will see him move to Emirates Stadium upon the expiration of his contract in the summer.
Having attracted praise for his performances in France's Ligue 1 in recent years, Chamakh, 26, is now anticipating a new challenge in England, even if he is reluctant to speak directly of Arsenal's interest.
"I have always wanted to play in the Premier League and any striker wants to meet that challenge and play in the league," Chamakh said in the Mirror. "I am prepared for a move even though I am completely focused on helping my current club. That is more important than my personal situation.
"It is not easy in England but the challenge in my career has always been to learn every day, keep improving and always help my club to success."
Chamakh has scored eight goals in 24 Ligue 1 appearances this season for Bordeaux and has also netted twice in six Champions League games.
