Bordeaux have been boosted by the news Alou Diarra did not suffer a serious injury against Rennes on Saturday.

Diarra, 28, underwent tests on Monday after being forced off only 15 minutes into the 4-2 Ligue 1 defeat at the Route de Lorient following a clash with home midfielder Jerome Leroy.
Diarra said of the problem: "I do not know what it is. I had already injured the same thigh at Le Mans in the Coupe de la Ligue (on January 26). The sensations are not good. I expect to learn more after examinations on Monday. The pain is stronger than in Le Mans. We'll see."
However, Bordeaux later allayed fears of a lengthy lay-off in a short statement on their website.
It read: "After examination, the captain of Les Girondins suffered a small lesion in the left hamstring. Alou's recovery programme will be scheduled according to the evolution of the injury."
Laurent Blanc's side found themselves three goals down five minutes into the second half at the weekend and, although they got back to 3-2, they could not stop the hosts pulling away for victory.
The result allowed second-placed Montpellier to cut Les Girondins' advantage at the Ligue 1 summit to three points.
"It's a setback but, given how our match started, it was difficult to expect a positive outcome here," Diarra said. "We knew it would be difficult. We made defensive mistakes and we paid the price.
"We must react and must be more sturdy. Conceding four goals, it is impossible to win. We can do better, be more focused. We must analyse our mistakes and not repeat them."
