Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is hoping his team's FA Cup third-round draw against Watford will afford him the chance to meet one of his heroes.

The Blues won the cup last year, under the guidance of interim coach Guus Hiddink, and his successor Ancelotti will begin his attempt to match that feat with a home clash against the Hornets.

Ancelotti has said in the past that he is a big fan of English music, and he is hoping the match at Stamford Bridge early next year will allow him to meet former Watford chairman Sir Elton John.

''I do not know Watford very well at the moment but I will have the opportunity to learn about them,'' he said after today's 3-0 Premier League win at Arsenal. ''The owner of Watford many years ago was Elton John. Elton John is my favourite singer. The match will be an opportunity to meet Elton John.''
