Dynamo defender Evgen Khacheridi sidelined

Dynamo Kiev defender Evgen Khacheridi has been ruled out until the end of 2009 after breaking his toe in Ukraine's World Cup play-off defeat to Greece last week.

Khacheridi, 21, will miss Kiev's Champions League Group F matches against Rubin Kazan and Barcelona as Group F comes to a conclusion.

The defender has played every minute of Dynamo's campaign to date and will be sorely missed by the Ukrainian side as they aim to reach the knockout stages.

Dynamo are currently bottom of the group but sit only two points behind leaders Inter Milan, such is the congested nature of the table.

The Ukrainian side visit Russia to play Rubin on Tuesday before hosting Barcelona in the final group game on December 9.
