Foster may seek loan move
Manchester United keeper Ben Foster may ask for a loan move in January to enhance his chances being England's first-choice stopper at next year's World Cup Finals.

A pre-season injury to Edwin van der Sar saw Foster handed a starting berth at Old Trafford at the start of this campaign but he failed to impress Sir Alex Ferguson after some high profile mistakes and has again found himself behind Van der Sar in the United pecking order following the Dutchman's return to fitness.
"It's very disheartening not even being on the bench at United," Foster said. "I'm third choice for United yet playing for my country. It's a weird one and I'll see what happens."
Foster started for England in the 1-0 defeat to Brazil in Doha on Saturday but England boss Fabio Capello is renowned for not picking players who aren't playing regularly for their club sides. Foster's United team-mate Michael Owen has been the most high profile casualty of Capello's strict philosophy and Foster is keen to escape a similar fate.
But Foster's desire to seek first-team football away from Old Trafford is unlikely to sit well with Ferguson after the United boss insisted only two week ago that "Ben will not be allowed out on loan in January. No way".
