The move is a formality confirming the club's status as a private business. A statement from the City released on Wednesday read: "In line with the notification of the company's delisting that was made on 14 October 2009, as of 7.00am today, the Company is delisted so that its shares are no longer admitted to trading on AIM."
The statement also confirmed Yeung, Vico Hui and Michael Wiseman as the sole directors of the company and club boards, meaning former directors Karren Brady, David Gold, Ralph Gold and David Sullivan all leave the club, along with former company secretary Roger Bannister.
Yeung has vowed to inject £40 million for new transfers in January followed by a further £40 million next season as he seeks to safeguard the club's Premier League status.
