CSKA Sofia reinstate remaining suspended players
Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia have reinstated the remaining five players of the nine originally suspended for their involvement in late-night drinking sessions, the club said late on Thursday.
The Sofia-based club imposed the ban after Sunday's 2-0 league defeat to Litex Lovech for "ruining the atmosphere" but reinstated four players the following day.
Shortly after CSKA's 3-1 Europa League defeat to Swiss club Basel, the Bulgarian club overturned the suspensions on the other five players.
"Yordan Todorov, Ivan Ivanov, Svetoslav Petrov, Kiril Kotev and Ivan Karadzhov will resume training with the first team after CSKA's return from Basel on Nov. 6," the club's website read.
