AC Milan will not make any more signings in this transfer window, owner Silvio Berlusconi said on Monday before seeing his side beat Juventus 5-4 on penalties to end a run of pre-season defeats.

"The market is closed," the Italian Prime Minister told reporters at the San Siro after Milan claimed their second victory in 11 pre-season friendlies.

"Milan must find the desire to win in the great players we have."

His team kick off their Serie A campaign at Siena on Saturday while Juventus entertain Chievo Verona on Sunday.
