Sydney FC have confirmed their new board of directors after the recent change of ownership at the A-League club.Prime Television owner Paul Ramsay, a new part-owner of the club, heads up the board as chairman.Ramsay replaces Lowy confidant Andrew Kemeny.Scott Barlow, son-in-law of the other new major shareholder, David Traktovenko, has been named vice chairman.Elliott Rusanow and Chris Rex complete a streamlined board.Barlow stressed the importance of taking the club, which has underachieved since winning the inaugural A-League title, to a new level and hinted at opening up the purse strings to ensure success."Since becoming majority shareholders, David and Paul have insisted that Sydney FC be provided with the resources necessary to achieve the success that our members and fans deserve," said Barlow, a board member since the club's foundation."It is important that the club is regarded as being a premium, high quality brand."We want to be recognised internationally and be seen as aspirational and a club with flair, to which people want to belong."
