South Korea select seven overseas players
South Korea coach Huh Jung-moo has summoned seven overseas players for the FIFA 2010 World Cup qualifier against DPR Korea on April 1.
The Group Two leaders also face Iraq in a friendly on Saturday.
Manchester United's Park Ji-sung and Cho Won-hee from Wigan Athletic return from England. Lee Young-pyo flies in from Borussia Dortmund and Park Chu-young heads home from AS Monaco.
"DPR Korea are a well-organised side but we will do our best to win," Park Ji-sung told reporters as he arrived at Incheon international Airport after appearing for Manchester United in their loss at Fulham on Saturday.
"I am not especially tired and this time we have time to prepare in order to give a good performance."
Hung has also called upon three Suwon Samsung Bluewings players for the first time. Midfielder Park Hyun-beom and strikers Bae Ki-jong and Lee Sang-ho.
"The game is an important one," Huh said. "In order to maintain the framework of the squad, I have added these three players who are in good form."
Pohang Steelers defender Hwang Jae-won has been called for the first time in 13 months.
Striker Yeom Ki-hoon and defender Cho Hyong-yong have been ruled out due to injury while midfielder Kim Jung-woo is suspended.
