UEFA Cup Draw

AC Milan, seven-times European champions, have a UEFA Cup assignment of Heerenveen, Braga, Portsmouth and Wolfsburg in the competition's group stage.

English Premier League strugglers Tottenham Hotspur pulled out Spartak Moscow, Serie A joint leaders Udinese, Dinamo Zagreb and Dutch side Nijmegen.

Winners from 2006 and 2007 Sevilla were drawn against German side Stuttgart, Sampdoria, Partizan Belgrade and Belgian champions Standard Liege.

Manchester City have German club Schalke and French club giants as well as Racing Santander. They also drew former England boss Steve McClaren's FC Twente.

Aston Villa face Martin Jol's Hamburg, Dutch giants Ajax, Slavia Prague and MSK Zilina of Slovakia.

The draw took place at 11am on Tuesday, October 7th.
