FC Dallas trades Abe Thompson to the Wizards
FC Dallas announced Friday that the team had acquired allocation money from the Kansas City Wizards in exchange for forward Abe Thompson.
Thompson was selected by Dallas in the 2nd Round of the 2005 MLS Supplemental Draft (16th overall).
In four seasons with the team, Thompson scored 14 goals while adding 11 assists, while starting 32 regular season games. In 2008, he scored three regular season goals in 13 games (four starts), and two Open Cup goals in two games.
