Sweden star Wilhelmsson signs for Al Hilal
Swedish international Christian Wilhelmsson has signed for Saudi League defending champions Al Hilal, the team announced on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old midfielder, who was in Sweden's squad for Euro 2008, will move to Al Hilal after an unsuccessful spell with Nantes in France, during which he had loan spells with Roma in Italy, Bolton in England and Deportiva La Coruna in Spain.
Wilhelmsson, who moved to Nantes from Belgian side Anderlecht in 2006, has signed a two-year contract with Al Hilal worth 3.6 million euros, according to reports.
