Ajax Amsterdam have agreed a three-year deal with Barcelona defender Oleguer, the Dutch club said on its website on Saturday.
The 28-year-old, who joined Barca from local side Gramenet
in 2001 and helped them win the Champions League in 2006, will
have a medical on Monday. He has the option of an extra year.
Media reports said Ajax will pay Barcelona 3.0 million euros
($4.71 million) plus another 2.25 million if they qualify for
the Champions League in one of the next three seasons.
Oleguer, who has also won two league titles and two Spanish
Super Cups with Barca, was a regular starter between 2004 and
2007 but made just 12 league appearances last term.
He has only scored once for Barcelona when he netted their
first goal in a 4-0 win over Malaga in April, 2005.
