Sociedad's Brechet heads home to Sochaux

MADRID, July 24 (Reuters) - Real Sociedad defender Jeremie Brechet is set to sign for French side Sochaux.

The 26-year-old Frenchman will have a medical with Ligue 1 club Sochaux on Wednesday before completing the move.

Brechet, who can play at left back or in the centre of defence, joined the Basque club in June 2004 on a four-year contract from Inter Milan, with the Serie A club sharing the rights to the player.

Before joining Inter in 2003, Brechet played with Olympique Lyon where he won two league titles and the League Cup.
