SEOUL, April 15 (Reuters) - South Korea have pencilled in friendlies against Senegal and Bosnia in late May as part of their preparations for the World Cup finals, the Korea Football Association (KFA) announced.
The games will take place on May 23 and 26 at Seoul World
Cup Stadium or another stadium in the capital area, said Kang
Shin-woo, vice president of the KFA's technical committee.
'We haven't signed anything with the two countries yet but
we are about 99 per cent there,' he said.
The Koreans, who lost to Germany in the semi-final of the
2002 World Cup on home soil, will leave for their base camp in
Scotland on May 27 and have arranged final tune-ups against
Norway on June 1 and Ghana three days later.
South Korea have been drawn in Group G with France,
Switzerland and Togo for the finals in Germany, which run from
June 9 to July 9.
