Hiddink the man for England - Viduka
Middlesbrough's Australia striker Mark Viduka believes Gus Hiddink would be the perfect choice to succeed Sven-Goran Eriksson as the next England coach.
Hiddink has announced he is to leave PSV at the end of the season and he is also expected to relinquish his role as coach of Australia after this summer's World Cup in Germany. The Dutchman has been linked strongly with both the Russian and English national jobs but Viduka believes he would be the best man to replace the Eriksson.'Whether he will take the job or not, I don't know, but he is definitely the best manager that I've worked with,' said Viduka.'If England chose him as their manager, they would perform outstandingly. He would bring them up to a different level, the level everyone is expecting.'I look at football management in two parts. The first is man-management and the second is the on the field stuff like tactics.'When it comes to man-management I've never dealt with a person who has the type of ability to be able to get every single player, even those on the bench, to be 100% willing to go out and die for the team.'He would definitely be my number one choice.'
