Siena get date with giant-killers after Coppa win

Siena got some welcome relief from their league travails by beating Grosseto 2-0 in the Coppa Italia tonight.

Emanuele Calaio opened the scoring for the hosts after 59 minutes before Marcelo Larrondo sealed the win over the Serie B side. Siena will face third tier giant-killers Novara, who have knocked out Serie A side Parma and Serie B's Modena to make it this far, for a place in the Round of 16.

Siena, who are currently bottom of Serie A, return to league duty a week on Sunday when they host Atalanta.
