Mathieu Valbuena scored a double as Marseille cruised into the semi-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue with a 3-0 away win over Caen.

Valbuena scored early in each half, registering in the seventh and 52nd minutes, either side of a strike from in-demand striker Loic Remy.

Despite losing several players to the African Nations Cup, Marseille did not miss a step to maintain their strong recent form.

The remaining three quarter-finals will be played on Wednesday.
