Tough-tackling midfielder who was thrown out of Yugoslavia's 1998 World Cup squad after refusing to fill in at left-back.
His holding role allows the more skilful members of his side's midfield to express themselves, and he is one of the few box-to-box players left in European football.
Made five appearances during qualifying and should be a regular member of Boskov's side this summer.
Sub against Norway and had a good shot saved by Myrhe.
