Yalcin is the maverick midfielder in the Turkish side, capable of turning on the style and bamboozling the most resilient defences almost at will.
Now with Galatasaray, his superb performances in the latter half of the season have propelled the Istanbul side to yet another championship.
He was an ever present in the qualifying campaign and netted against Moldova.
Missed numerous chances in the opening 2-1 defeat to Italy and struggled to make the creative impact required as a replacement for Muzzy Izzet in the poor draw with Sweden.
