Another player who can perform in a variety of roles, Korfut has established himself as a quality international left-back.
Korfut was dismissed against Germany in qualifying but still made seven appearances and should comfortably hold off the challenge of Hakan Unsal for his position.
Korfut, formerly with Fenerbahce, moved to the Primera Liga at the end of the 1999-2000 season.
Ineffective both against Italy and as a substitute in the bore draw with Sweden, but more solid in the 2-0 triumph against Belgium.
