Played in the opener against Belgium but despite his better efforts, the Swedish defence was often troubled by their opponents attack. He also gave a strong defensive performance against Turkey and was solid against Italy.
Former Glasgow Rangers defender Bjorklund is a permanent fixture in the
Swedish side since making his debut with Patrik Anderson against Australia in
1992.
Has proven an important member of the Valencia side which reached the
final of the Champions League this season, and can fill in anywhere along the
backline.
Spent a season with Vicenza in Italy before moving to Ibrox in 1996.
With over 70 caps, he is one of the most experienced and senior members of the
squad.
