Burst onto the international scene by making his debut against Mexico in
1994 as a 19-year-old, but has since made only 11 more appearances including
just one in qualifying.
Spent an unfortunate season with Blackburn Rovers in 1997-98 when he was unable to break into the first team.
Is utilised on the right of midfield by his club, but with Niclas Alexandersson occupying that position, he will have to move infield if he is to be included by Soderberg.
Replaced the ineffective Alexandersson in the Turkey match but he couldn't make any more impact than the Sheffield Wednesday man.
