Novak has enjoyed a good first season with unheralded French side Sedan-Ardennes, having also played for Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Partizan Belgrade among others.
A key player in Srecko Katanec's system because of his hard work down the right flank, the former Le Havre player can cause problems for defences with his pace, but is also adept in defensive situations.
Very creative on the wing in Slovenia's first two games and looked very impressive against 'better' players. Was booked against Yugoslavia.
Has impressed during Euro 2000.
