One of the few players to emerge with any credit from Celtic's disastrous season, Riseth is an influential figure in the Norway midfield.
He has proved his versatility at Celtic Park this term, often playing as an emergency centre-back, and should carry his impressive form on to the international arena in Holland and Belgium.
Made stunning international debut in 1998 with two goals in opening games, but has since failed to nail down a fixed place in the side and has not managed another goal.
