The Rosenborg full-back's international career has taken off under Semb, who handed him his first cap in the qualifying match with Greece in March 1999. He has been an ever-present in the side ever since.
A veteran of his club's last three Champions' League campaigns, Bergdolmo is strong in the tackle, has good positional sense and is also dangerous going forward.
One of a string of stone-walling defenders from Rosenborg. Has been in and out of favour for Norway and failed to make it to the World Cup finals in France. He is something of a fan's favourite.
Clashes with Etxeberria in the opener against Spain earned both men a yellow card. Not able to get forward against Yugoslavia.
Saved Norway from defeat against Slovenia with a last ditch tackle on Siljak.
