UEFA announce Frisk to referee Final

Swedish referee Anders Frisk has been chosen by UEFA to officiate the Euro 2000 final in Rotterdam on Sunday, July 2.

UEFA has been evaluating the performance of referees throughout the European Championships eventually whittling them down to just three for the remaining matches.

Guenter Benko of Austria will take charge of the first semi-final between France and Portugal in Brussels on Wednesday.

Germany's Markus Merk will referee the Holland v Italy semi-final in Amsterdam on Thursday.
