Amsterdam Arena officials have asked Turkey and Portugal not to train at the stadium before their quarter-final in an attempt to preserve the pitch for the match.
The teams will travel to the Arena well before Saturday's kick-off, but have agreed to the request - denying both the usual opportunity to practice on the match pitch before the game.
Portugal spokesman Jose Freitas confirmed that the squad would train at their camp in Ermelo as they prepare for a clash with the team they beat 1-0 in Euro 96.
They say they are treating their opponents with the utmost seriousness, and have praised the Turks' defensive organisation.
