Flo looks for goals
By Chris Borg

Norway striker Tore Andre Flo hopes his country's final group match against Slovenia will finally bring him the chances to score goals and steer the team into the quarter-finals.

Flo - who has not grabbed an international strike since last October - says he is becoming increasingly frustrated with his lack of goals.

He was tightly marked in the Norwegians' previous Group C game - a controversial 1-0 defeat against Yugoslavia - but hopes that the Slovenia match will end his international drought.

He admitted: 'I feel OK, but I still feel that I have much more to show. So far, it has been more fighting than playing football up front.'

Norway angrily claimed that Yugoslavia had 'sabotaged' the countries' clash, accusing them of play-acting and repeated stoppages.

The match saw striker Steffan Iversen suffer a broken nose, but he is thought likely to be fit to face the Slovenians. Norway and Spain are level on three points, behind group leaders Yugoslavia on four.

But Flo admits the Slovenians will be difficult opponents, and said: 'I think they have done well so far, but we have a good chance of beating them. It will be a very tough match - they need to win as well.

'I hope it will be a football match, not like Yugoslavia. That's what we want to do - play football all the time.'
