Sunderland line up Bejbl signing

EXCLUSIVE: Sunderland have became firm favourites to sign Czech Republic midfield international Radek Bejbl from Atletico Madrid for £2m.

Tottenham are set to lose out to Fiorentina in the race to snap up Slovenian international Zlatko Zahovic.

Zahovic had been linked with a move to White Hart Lane, but new Fiorentina coach Fatih Terim has named the play-maker as his ideal replacement for Gabriel Batistuta, who has moved to Roma.
