ROTTERDAM, June 12 (Reuters) - Czech Radoslav Latal, who received a red card for dissent after being substituted in Sunday's Euro 2000 game against the Netherlands, will miss the next match aginst France, UEFA confirmed on Monday.
Veteran defender Latal was dismissed from the bench after he and a number of Czech players argued with fourth official Kyros Vassaras of Greece following a penalty wich condemed the Czechs to a 1-0 defeat by the Dutch.
'Latal's suspension will take effect immediately and he will therefore miss the Czech Republic's upcoming match versus France,' UEFA said.
Forward Pavel Nedved was also reprimanded for kicking the ball towards a security officer and then into the stand in anger at his substitution.
The Czechs meet France in their second Group D match on Friday in Bruges.
