SOESTDUINEN, Netherlands, June 9 (Reuters) - Slovenia's top goalscorer Zlatko Zahovic, eager to leave Greek champions Olympiakos, hopes his personal manager finds him another club by Tuesday so he can concentrate on Euro 2000.
Speaking to reporters at the Slovenia team hotel, Zahovic
said on Friday he was preoccupied with changing clubs, and
really wanted the situation resolved by Tuesday when debutants
Slovenia play Yugoslavia in Charleroi.
'My manager is looking for a club. We would like to find
something before the Yugoslavia game,' he said, adding he would
like to go to a Spanish side.
Zahovic, banned from playing for Olympiakos and fined
$57,000 after he swore at coach Alberto Bigon in April, says he
looks back on his time at the club as a 'positive experience
for life.'
'If I resolve my problem before Europe I will be 100
percent fit,' he said.
Zahovic repeated he would consider going back to Portugal
but only to his old club, champions Porto.
