ERMELO, Netherlands, June 9 (Reuters) - Rui Costa respects England's power and attacking potential, but he thinks Portugal are probably a more skilful side.
'They're a very strong team in attack and are also very
strong physically. But we probably have better technique. We'll
try and use that to find a way through,' he said on Friday
before Monday's Euro 2000 game against England in Eindhoven.
Team mate Jorge Costa described England as 'coherent.'
'The England team in my view do not have any weak points,
but we are very confident in our own ability,' he said.
Assistant trainer Adelino Teixiera said his players were
anxious to get on with the game.
'After two weeks of training we're ready for it. England
have good players and great dynamism, so we're in for a strong
game,' he said.
'There is great expectation at home. We have learned from
our mistakes and we want to put in a good performance.'
