Portugal midfielder Paulo Sousa had to cut short his training
session for the second consecutive day today and is a doubt for his
country's opening Euro 2000 fixture against England on June 12.
Sousa, who plays for Italian outfit Parma, is suffering from a
strained thigh and missed last Friday's 3-0 win over Wales.
Portuguese team doctor Joao Paulo Almeida said: 'We do not know if
he will be able to play against England.
Defensive midfielder Sousa was a key member of the Borussia
Dortmund team that won the 1997 Champions League.
