Slovenia coach Srecko Katanec was in bullish mood after his European Championship outsiders beat Saudi Arabia in Ljubljana on Saturday.
'We will be a big problem for all our opponents if we play as we did today,' he said after goals from Zlatko Zahovic and Milenko Acimovic gave Slovenia a 2-0 win in their last warm-up match before their Group C opener against Yugoslavia on June 13.
Slovenia may be rated at 125-1 for Euro 2000, but that holds little credence with Katanec: 'We proved that we have some classy players and a team full of real fighters. Now they only have to rest for two days and we are ready to fly to Holland without any worries.'
Zahovic had an easy job of scoring after benefitting from a dreadful mix-up in the Saudi defence in the 16th minute. The Olympiakos striker then threaded a diagonal pass for Acimovic to add the second almost immediately after coming on as a second-half substitute.
