Slovenian goalkeeper joins Bruges

LJUBLJANA, May 25 (Reuters) - Slovenia's third-choice goalkeeper Dejan Nemec has signed a five-year contract with Belgium's Club Bruges, the president of Murska Sobota, the player's Slovenian club, said on Thursday.

'Nemec yesterday signed a five-year deal with Bruges but I cannot reveal the size of the contract,' club president Milan Morec said.

Nemec, a 24-year-old newcomer to the Slovenian national squad for the forthcoming Euro 2000 finals, is expected to be first-choice goalkeeper for Club Bruges, who are second in the Belgian first division.
