Slovenia coach Srecko Katanec has named his squad for Euro 2000.
The tournament's rank outsiders - 125/1 to lift the trophy - include players from minor clubs across Europe.
Slovenian club champions Maribor appeared in the Champions League this season: three of their players are named in the squad.
There are two more home-based players - young midfielder Anton Zlogar of HIT Nova Gorica, and goalkeeper Dejan Nemec of Murska Sobota.
The rest of the squad ply their trades for clubs in Austria, Croatia and elsewhere.
Zlatko Zahovic of Greek side Olympiakos is expected to be the outstanding play in the Slovenia side.
Three of the squad do play in Germany - but all for teams outside the Bundesliga.
Striker Mladen Rudonja, who plays for Sint Truidense in Belgium's Eerste Klasse, should guarantee a degree of local support during Euro 2000.
