BUCHAREST, May 19 (Reuters) - Romania's national coach Emeric Ienei complained on Friday he had not been able to assemble his full squad ahead of the May 27 friendly against the Netherlands in Amsterdam.
'Most of our stars playing abroad have not finished their
club matches,' Ienei told Reuters. 'I'm working with only ten
players from the Romanian championship.'
Among those missing will be key midfielder Constantin Galca
who is needed by his club Espanyol for the Spanish Cup final.
Earlier this month Ienei called-up a 25-man squad for games
against the Dutch and then Greece in Bucharest on June 3.
