Iuliano found himself playing in the Final of Euro 2000 - more thsan he might have dreamed of when the tournament began. Unfortunately, any dreams of actually lifting the trophy were dashed at the death. Iuliano was perhaps caught out of position for the winning goal.
Replaced Gianluca Pessotto in the opening match and gave a strong performance, which saw him replace his injured clubmate in the Belgium game. Carried out his instructions well in all games and was part of Italy's rearguard action against Holland.
Stayed first choice and played well against Romania.
A useful player to have on the bench, not least for his versatility.
Dependable centre-back with Juventus and, as he showed against Portugal this April, can come forward to score as well.
Combines well with his more experienced Juve colleagues when called upon.
